England! The month changed and so did the weather. It
happened overnight. Even Grace, my lovely collie-x, has been spending a
bit more time indoors, and she is a fresh air freak, so it must be
colder/wetter out there!

especially as my father was a double amputee, and back then he was told
he would never even walk again. With pure determination he
proved them wrong. Of course then the prosthetics were nothing
like they are today, looking back it is a wonder they could be used at
all.

the pure determination and guts of the people using todays prosthetics,
even without competing in all that is involved in the Olympics.
